Local Roots, Pizza Passions

Donnie Brown, a Colorado Springs native, worked as a paperboy for Gazette, BJ’s Velvet, Leon Gessi NY Pizza, and Bambino’s Italian Eatery. Guided by local business owners, he learned small business intricacies while managing and studying law enforcement. Shifting careers after starting a family, he successfully owned Intermountain Lawns for over 20 years. Despite a love for small business and outdoor work, Donnie's heart has always been drawn to pizza.

Cari Brown began working at 15, starting at a Southern California pool supply warehouse. Transitioning to full-time pre-graduation, she continued at Olive Garden, Macaroni Grill, and Chuy’s Mesquite Broiler. A decade at Costco marked a new chapter, leading her to Colorado Springs. Meeting Donnie in 2014, their shared vision for the future focused on the food service industry.
